A native of Morocco, Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was just 5 years old. She was raised in Orange County. In 2015, she graduated from University of California San Diego and made her debut as an actress. Pernas appeared in minor roles on NCIS as well as Leverage and Leverage, however she got the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless.
