At the age of 19 She released her debut single Here. The song was an instant success and was praised by the public and from critics. The Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked the single at 19. Even Rolling Stone called the single one of its Best Songs in 2015. That same year, she released her debut album Know It All with the third song Scars to Your Beautiful being one of five original tracks which reached the top of Billboard charts, including The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. In her Rap-Up interview fans discussed Cara's self-love journey and her fears. Cara incorporates messages about love and kindness into her music. She's been in the midst of insomnia and anxiety, which affected her life. According to an Reuters interview, her album was described as half tumultuous half perfected. She says she grew through therapy, and encourages others to seek help when necessary. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11, 1996. Her parents gave her guitar at the age of 10, and it led to her passion for music. In the age of 13she began covering songs she adored on YouTube in order to show people that she was talented and had the courage to make a profession of an artist. One of her tracks, Sweater Weather, was what got her noticed. EP Entertainment gave her the chance to write and write her own songs.
