Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's ex-married partners. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria area of London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and was hoping to move back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after switching from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in school productions. When she was 16, she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
